Bored Cast-in-Situ Piles by using Temporary Casing / Permanent Casing, Bentonite Slurry / Polymer and CFA Methods


APCC specializes in piling techniques essential for supporting heavy building loads and preventing settlement issues.

Our Piling services include:

  • Bored Cast-in-Situ Piles: Ideal for high-rise buildings and weak soils, created using rotary drilling rigs with reinforcement cages and continuous concrete casting. Temporary or permanent casing and vibration or rotary drilling methods may be used.

  • CFA (Continuous Flight Auger) Piles: Commonly used for low-rise buildings and villas, where concrete is cast during auger extraction and reinforcement added afterward.

Stabilizing fluids like bentonite or polymers are employed during piling to prevent soil collapse. Concrete is poured using Tremie pipes in underwater or drilling fluid conditions. Rigorous testing ensures pile quality for workability, durability, strength, load capacity, and integrity.

Barrettes are non-circular piles like L-shaped, T-shaped, cross-shaped, square-shaped, and most commonly rectangular. They're drilled using diaphragm wall cutting machines and are known for their robustness against vertical and lateral loads due to double-reinforced sections and larger surface area compared to circular piles. Their popularity has grown significantly in recent years.
